A few weeks ago I was very kindly hosted by Heilsufrelsi in Iceland two give two talks:
In the first talk I cover the reasons behind why nutrition research is so confusing, as well as some of the reasons why I think most people can and should consume good quality dairy products. However, I also detail some research behind certain diseases where I think it is probably beneficial to exclude dairy from the diet, and why.
In the second talk I go over a systematic approach and root cause analysis for Multiple Sclerosis, which is an ongoing project that I have written about before. Here I go over some of the basic ideas, including a step-wise treatment approach that I think is applicable in many chronic diseases, focusing particularly on diet.

A huge thank you to my support team behind the scenes! It had been a few busy weeks, and writing these talks went down to the wire. Thanks to my mum for translating the slides into Icelandic as we raced to the venue, and for being my technical support. Thanks also to my other co-workers on the MS project, Harald Sverdrup and Ulrik Sverdrup. Thanks to all my Icelandic family, who turned up and listened. And finally, thanks to my girlfriend Elizabeth who talked to me through the night as I stayed up and put everything together!
As ever, please feel free to ask any questions in the comments section below.
